Grove City College Crimson Callers, Spring 2008- Present

  • Oversee ten student workers a night as they make calls to alumni.
  • Run computer system as well as solve any minor computer programs.
  • Motivate callers as they call the alumni.

Swing Fore Life Golf Academy, Summer 2009 and 2010

  • Golf instructor for kids ages five to fifteen years old.
  • Implemented different drills for the players to develop their golf skills.

Morris County Golf Club, Summer 2009 and 2010

  • Served members at the pool’s snack bar.
  • Worked with international workers each summer, showing the each section of the snack bar and helping them communicate with members.

Grove City College Early Childhood Center, Spring 2009-Spring 2010

  • Student Assistant to the director.
  • Prepared all  materials needed for lesson and centers
  • Handled the inventory for the Center.

The Inflation Station, September 2006- August 2008

  • Started as a ride attended, then worked as a party Hostess, buyer, and office help.
  • Developed a more efficient way to make the deliverers of the inflatables.
  • Rented out the inflatables and worked through customers problems.
  • Renewed permits for the rides with the State of New Jersey.

Educational Experience

Multicultural Field experience in Newark, NJ, June 2010

  • Worked with students on a personal level.
  • Developed relationships with the student through learning about their cultural.
  • Created center activities  for reading, writing, science, and spelling.

Early Childhood Student Teaching, January 2010

  • Taught in an inner city London School for two weeks.
  • Responsible for every different aspect of the classroom day over the two week period.
  • Worked with a selective mute, who spoke to me by the end of the two weeks.

Target Teach Parsippany, September 2006- June 2007

  • Spent at least four afternoons a week in Ms. Valente’s 3rd grade classroom.
  • Implemented personal attention to students who need it during lessons.
  • Created and implemented a reading plan for a struggling student.

Other involvement:

  • Grove City College Early Childhood Center Volunteer– Assisted the teacher for about 2-4 hours a week.
  • Women’s varsity golf– Four year letter winner, served as team captain junior and senior year.
  • New Life at George Junior Republic– worked with male juvenile delinquents each week working on building relationships.
  • Gamma Sigma Phi Sorority– held various leadership positions, and work as part of a team to accomplish different service projects.
  • Guatemala Service Trip April 2010-worked in an orphanage in the mountains of Guatemalan with 25 other students from Grove City College.
