Working with children has always been a passion of mine. My first three years of college I was an Early Childhood and Elementary Education major. Next year, I plan to continue my education in getting my Master in Teaching.

Below you will find a few of my education expirences highlighted.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CENTER AT GROVE CITY COLLEGE:

Since Freshmen year, I have spent many hours a week working as an aide in the classroom. Everyday my responisbilites would vary depending on the time I was there, however; my main responsibilities were teaching, running center times, and overall maintaining classroom order.

EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDENT TEACHING IN LONDON, ENGLAND

In January of 2010, I spent two weeks teaching at Risley Avenue Primary School. I was in a Kindergarten classroom, and my responsibilities varied depending on the day. By the end of my time there I was responsible of every aspect of the classroom.

MULTICULTURAL FIELD EXPERIENCE IN NEWARK, NEW JERSEY

This past summer, I had the privileged to spend a little over a week at the Lafayette Street School in the Ironbound of Newark. It was a wonderful experience to see how  an inner city school.  The teacher of the classroom, got me involved in the students work, how she daily worked in the classroom,  the school politics that go into teaching, and involved with the parents. It was one of the best experiences I ever had in a school.
